Rustic, yet Elegant Tabletop!

For a rustic and elegant look for your holiday table, use fresh greens, silver and/or gold flecked pine cones, natural burlap poinsettias (available in natural with red trim and solid red), a garland of holly berries and pine cones, strung on pine needles and then finish up with various materials that have a “woodsy” texture.

Add in a combination of varied heights of mason jars for small groupings of flower arrangements. Finish off mason jars with gold-toned, burlap ribbons. Over the burlap, you can add a red or green ribbon tied in a bow. I used a brown woven rattan charger and an ivory colored dinner plate. The woven rattan adds another layer of texture and the solid color plate does not compete with everything else going on. Use candles in small, mercury glass holders. The combination of the natural, woodsy textured materials, along with the glitter and mercury glass will illuminate your home as well as your friend’s hearts.
