French Country Style Mother’s Day Brunch

The inspiration for my idea of the Mother’s Day Brunch came when I was in Provence the last week of April.

Let’s start with our Table Top Design.  A light butter cup tone on tone Damask tablecloth will be a perfect backdrop. For your centerpiece let’s use a vintage metal pail with a rustic  arrangement of sunflowers, lavender branches and assorted wild flowers.

You can use the Main Course Setting for this – see Table Setting Basics for Details.

Lets use all white dishes for a nice clean feel, a lavender white checkered pattern napkin. In fact, I have a perfect napkin ring for you in the Boutique – they are a napkin ring and a place holder in one. For the true Mother’s Day celebration to remember, use your favorite photos of your mom at each setting instead of the name holders.

To complete the classic French Country feel, my Toile serving pieces by Sabre are perfect.

Did you know that in France they celebrate the Mother’s Day on June 7th –  Fete les Meres? Why not treat your mom to the surprise Fete les Meres celebration by giving her a framed photo from the Mother’s Day Brunch.
