Fabulous Flavored Butters

These assorted flavored butters are perfect for any season. They’re easy to make and convenient to have on hand. Can be used to give a burst of flavor for a variety of seafood, chicken, vegetables, corn-on-the-cob, baked potatoes, pasta and perfect for dipping assorted breads.

GARLIC BUTTER
1/2 cup organic butter (unsalted)
1 to 2 tablespoons minced garlic
¼ grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon each of sea salt and fresh ground pepper
Optional: add 3 tablespoons fresh chopped dill

HERB BUTTER
1/2 cup organic butter (unsalted)
1 to 2 tablespoons minced garlic
3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
3 tablespoons finely chopped rosemary
3 tablespoons finely chopped thyme
1/8 teaspoon each of paprika, curry powder, sea salt and fresh ground pepper, dried onions
1 tablespoon lemon juice
A splash of white wine, Windsor Oaks
A splash of Tabasco sauce

BASIL BUTTER
1 cup organic butter (unsalted)
½ cup finely chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons minced garlic
course salt and ground pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL BUTTERS
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients.
Scoop onto a sheet of plastic wrap and form into a log.
Wrap tightly and refrigerate for two hours, until firm.
Remove from refrigerator and slice into ½ inch thick rounds and wrap, individually in plastic wrap.
Label a zip-loc bag with butter name and keep in freezer.
Use as needed.
