Hef’s Favorite Holiday Dinner Paired With Bark Vineyards Pinot Leasheo
December 24, 2013Show your dog how much you love them with this easy to make recipe! The Pinot’s depth of character is excellent with this dish.
Ground Turkey with Vegetables
You will need:
- 3 pounds ground organic turkey
- 4 TBS of EVOO
- 7 cups of leafy greens, mustard, kale or spinach
- 1 can of drained kidney beans
- 4 large carrots
- 1/2 tsp of dried mustard
- 2 cups no- sodium broth or water
- 1-cup un-cooked barley.
Chop the greens into bite- size pieces, chop the carrots into 1 ” chucks, mince the garlic and add all three to the crock pot. Add rinsed kidney beans to mustard.
Add olive oil and broth. Last ingredient to go in the meat. Cook on low for 9 hours.
